TUMBLR: Colourful Things

I decided to make a Tumblr.
For no other reason beside I have so many thoughts
and see so many pictures that id love to share
with you guys on here but it just wouldn't go
along with the over all image of the blog.
So www.RaRaAntonio.Tumblr.com also known as
"Thoughts Dreams & Colourful Things" is where you can find all my extra thoughts and images that I love.

Tumblr is fun so you should make one
if you don't already have one
and then follow me!
But it is quite addicting so be careful

People Whose Style Should Be Admired: Kait Cutler

This stunning creature is Kait Cutler.
She's a Chicagoan by way of Powell, Ohio & she
is pure Unadulterated sex to my eyes:
The "fun, wild with a little Kink" type of SEX to my eyes.

Her STYLE is the type that a lot of people have tried to
capture and make their own, but are never able to pull it off.
It's a very DARK style, but also very girly and sexy.
Recently I found myself unable to find anyone whose style
captured my eyes the way my former entries have/did.
Then Kait came along and it was a godsend.

Well, below are a few questions I have
asked Kait plus her amazing answers grouped with
a few pictures of her style & beauty.

1.) Can you describe your style a little for me?
Do you think you fall into a specific style group?
"Neutrals with a pop. I'm definitely an all black kind of girl,
but I always find a way to sneak a little color in there."

2.) What inspires you/your fashion sense?
Friends? City life? Art? What?
"My surroundings definitely inspire my style. I look for inspiration in architecture,
street style, and friends. It helps to be in such a diverse city."

"..and geometry is such a huge factor in what heels
I choose to purchase. Angular Skyscraper heels forever!"

3.) Do your clothes reflect your emotions of the time?
I mean, I sometimes wear my emotions without noticing so it happens...

"For sure. If I'm feeling frumpy and gross, I'm gonna need a pick me up, you know?
I'll throw on some heels and a black dress, do my hair,
and go dancing. I totally dress to improve my mood."

4.) What article of clothing or accessory
can you NOT by any means leave home without?
"Haha, it's not even an article of clothing, but lipstick.
I always leave the house with a purse
full of at least 3 different shades of lip wear.
My coworkers (boys too!) always come straight to me if they need some pigment on their lips."

Okay, last question btw thanks again for the interview!

5.) What's your favorite pass time in Chicago?
What does Kait like to do for fun?!
"I'm a big fan of trying new food. If it sounds weird, I'll eat it.
I'm blessed to be in Chicago where it's really easy to find strange foods to consume.
I suppose I could be called a "foodie".
Anthony Bourdain is my biggest crush."

I fell in love with Kait when I saw her, and If you
frequent this blog we prob have the same taste and you're in love also!

D.I.Y Style (Kinda)

I Bought this shirt at Urban Outfitters of 2 girls licking an ice cream
cone, and I thought they looked forced and FAKE. loll
And i was also feeling like an angsty teenage girl that
had black paint that I needed to get rid of so...

So I made a mess!

Model of the Month: Matt Ardell

Who knew that Schenectady, NY had anything
to offer let alone an angelic face such as this one. Matt Ardell(17) is one of the newer faces of NY based DNA Model Managment and in less then a year he has acquired quite the resume. From shooting the cover of Vogue Japan, and starring in editorials all the way to having world renowned designer turned photographer Hedi Slimane request him personally for a job. He's been busy for the past year and I must say I definitely see why. Every freckle and even the spacing between his eyes was crafted for greatness: He was crafted for greatness.

Below is "An Affair to Remember"
Starring Matt Ardell

These along with the rest of the photos
can be found in ESSENTIAL-HOMME.COM

LANVIN Men F/W 2012: QuickReview.

Lanvin's Menswear Designer Lucas Ossendrijver took his
F/W 2012/13 collection to a new level of style with a little
European class. I love it, and I know this might not be a surprise
to those who read the blog regularly, but to those who
don't I am absolutely obsessed with Lanvin. Its one fashion
house that never disappoints in any way. Don't get me wrong
just like with every other designer there are hits and misses,
but with Lanvin they are very rare.
Check out a few shots from the show during fashion week below, and
don't forget to look at the video Courtesy of WWW.MODELS.COM!

The "best styled award" will have to go to the above model.
Someone paid a lot of attention to details with this one.

My least favorite piece would have to be the obvious
Alcatraz inspired pair of pants. Just not my taste..

Model Noma Han is wearing one of my favorite pieces
from the show. The navy calf length coat he's wearing is magnificent right?
I love that word soo much! MAGNIFICENT! MAGNIFICENT! MAG-NI-FI-CENT!

Celeb Street Style: R.K. Follese

Some may and some may not know who Hot Chelle Rae is.
Those who don't have no idea who Ryan Keith Follese is,
but those of you who know of the band have surely noticed the
lead singer of hits like "Tonight, Tonight" and "I like it like that"('s)
well put together style.

R.K's style to me is so Hipster 2.0.
He wears a lot of things that can fit easily into the
hipster category in the style manual, but with a almost
unapologetic sexual ENGLISH edge to it.

And my god the boy knows how to find the right pair of jeans
and knows how to choose all the right accessories to bring
his well thought out (but never forced) look to reality.
Don't get me wrong I love a great stylist but I love
when someone knows what they want to wear and what they look
good in and they find a middle ground by themselves.

I genuinely think that men of our generation are
somewhat afraid of fashion. Obviously not in a literal way,
but afraid to take chances with their style. Which is
actually insane to me seeing as though most of
the lines between male and female fashion have been
erased. We live in such an androgynous world; Its time to
take chances. Just like the über stylish R.K!

Do you like Ryan's style?
If so, guys take notes, and more chances.

TRANSPORTATION ILLUSTRATIONS

Okay, I prefer not to wear real fur, but its so beautiful, and some
faux fur is just terrible to look at and even worst to touch.
so I've been googling no kill, no harm ways to harvest fur and I
found the amazing Alpaca! I had an idea while taking the train home
from a friends and sketched this out real quick. Terrible looking
I know, but until I get my pencils this ink rendering will have to do.

ThePlastiqueLife&Style Awards 2011

I decided to do a little 2011 life&style award thing-y for the blog. Best dressed, worst dressed, best surgery, worst reality show, etc.
Best Dressed of the Year:
Mila Kunis

This was by far one of the hardest decisions I had to make when it came to ThePlastiqueLife awards. I love so many types of style and 2011 was definitely a year that so many women stepped out of their comfort zone, but none compared to the always impeccable Mila (pictured above in Alexander McQueen resort 2011) . Every since her huge big screen come back in the December 2010 blockbuster "Black Swan" she has always and I mean ALWAYS been on her A game.

Mila above in Elie Saab Spring couture 2011 has always been gorgeous, but she was to far stuck up Macaulay Culkin's ass ( an amazing ass if I may say so myself), and working on shows like "family guy" and "that 70's show" to showcase her a list style and talent. I'm happy she's finally being the Mila I always knew she could and letting her style blossom in a way many only try to and never succeed in doing so.

Mila above in Vera Wang is on her way to becoming the perfect style icon. Now some people may not agree with and might say "Mila doesn't always look flawless" well they should know I based this on public appearances only and not street style. She's perfect and if you disagree keep it to yourself.

More Awards post coming soon.
