Alexander Wang F/W 2012: QuickReview

Alexander Wang is always bringing his A*game
I honestly dont think he can do less than perfect.
If you go to his show expect to see structure, clean
lines, new age garments, A little white, a lot of black, & his best.
He sent his squadron of amazons (Including Gisele, Suvi, and Carmen!)
down the runway and off to war on the runway of Fashion Week.
Knee high boots, glossy jackets, fishnet mask.. felt sort
of like post apocalyptic high fashion.

Some have tried, but none have succeeded at doing
just enough of "To much" to still stay Chic.
Its hard, but Mr. Wang has conquered the runway enough
times that shows it is possible.
He made it possible.

Check out the bag.
Yeah, I want it too.
Classic.

It has been said that watching a Wang show
is could be simalar to watching Dali reveal his artistry,
a Genius play chess, Venus play tennis, or Tiger golf.
There is nothing like it.

Perfect.

PREEN F/W 2012: QuickReview.

Can PREEN Designers Junstin Thorton and Thea Bregazzi do
any wrong? No. Atleast not in my eyes.
Fashion shows tell a story. I would hate for someone to
want to wear my designs, but have no care for the story they are
telling as they walk down the street promoting my name.
Everytime I see fashion I wonder what the designers
thoughts were as they were creating: What were their feelings.
Justin and Thea chose children's author Beatrix Potter
as slight inspiration for their F/W line, but I think it was more
then the books/author that inspired them.
I believe it was childhood itself that inspired the patterns, colors,
and towering heals before your eyes.

When you imagine your Autumn days as
a child what comes to mind?

I think of the orange, green, and brown midwestern
Fall leaves brushing past my feet. Standing on my tip-toes
trying to catch that glow bug but never reaching.
My mothers fur, and my last days without a heavy coat!
I see all of these things in this collection, but
then again that just me.

After the leaves have brushed into the street and the temp
has droped below comfort weather; The sky gets dark
and so do our clothes because winter has come once more.

Those shoes are to die for correct?
Well they're all a part of the PREEN
collection at ALDO.
The Preen show is one of my favorites every year
for a reason; I hate dissapointment.
PREEN never dissapoints.
