Can PREEN Designers Junstin Thorton and Thea Bregazzi do
any wrong? No. Atleast not in my eyes.
Fashion shows tell a story. I would hate for someone to
want to wear my designs, but have no care for the story they are
telling as they walk down the street promoting my name.
Everytime I see fashion I wonder what the designers
thoughts were as they were creating: What were their feelings.
Justin and Thea chose children's author Beatrix Potter
as slight inspiration for their F/W line, but I think it was more
then the books/author that inspired them.
I believe it was childhood itself that inspired the patterns, colors,
and towering heals before your eyes.
When you imagine your Autumn days as
a child what comes to mind?
I think of the orange, green, and brown midwestern
Fall leaves brushing past my feet. Standing on my tip-toes
trying to catch that glow bug but never reaching.
My mothers fur, and my last days without a heavy coat!
I see all of these things in this collection, but
then again that just me.
After the leaves have brushed into the street and the temp
has droped below comfort weather; The sky gets dark
and so do our clothes because winter has come once more.
Those shoes are to die for correct?
Well they're all a part of the PREEN
collection at ALDO.
The Preen show is one of my favorites every year
for a reason; I hate dissapointment.
PREEN never dissapoints.
